Nikon D3100

Nikon D3100 is the first DSLR I have ever owned. It's an entry level DSLR. I'm not into digital cameras so it will be a long time before I start looking at higher-range DSLRs. For now, my entry level digital camera is good enough. I struggle a little to get use to this new Nikon cam. I am def still a manual film girl. It offers much more flexibility, possibilities and allows freedom in the creative space. What I find really fun about digital cameras though, is the tools I can use for colour correction and photo enhancement. It is the exact opposite of film photography which I leave everything to it's rawest form, where flaws are seen as a kind of beauty. In digital photography, I nitpicked every detail by enhancing each picture to show its most vibrant and vivid form. To be honest, my Adobe Lightroom skill is rubbish, but if one day I can master the program, I may even come out of the archaic era and start going digital.

These are some test shots of London I took with the Nikon D3100.

You can view the entire album on Flickr.
The first 5 pictures in this Flickr album were also taken in London but using a film camera. This is my impression of Film vs Digital :)
